The Team:

Mark

Following eleven years in the British Army as a Royal Signals Technician, Mark has gained a further 15 years experience in the property industry. His work has centered around the local Harrogate property market where he has managed residential property portfolios for private clients. More recently acting as a Building Surveyor for a local property maintenance company, his role involved identifying defects and programming repair schedules.

Mark studied at Leeds Metropolitan University gaining a 2:1 honours degree in Building Surveying. This has allowed him to progress his studies and gain the Government recognised diploma in Home Inspection awarded by the Building Research Establishment (BRE) based in Watford. Accredited by BRE Mark is qualified to perform Home Condition Reports and Energy Performance Certificates.

Amanda

Amanda has worked in the property industry all her working life, starting out in London and gravitating North to where she grew up.  She has over 25 years experience in this field at management level and most of it in Harrogate and Yorkshire.

Working for estate agents, house builders and in property management, Amanda has found her niche in the latter and block property management.  For the last three years she has been running her own successful business, A.Malone Property Management Ltd.  Amanda has worked for big industry names such as Barnard Marcus, Britannia Developments, Black Horse Agencies and Adams Property Management.

Continuing to extend her knowledge of the property market and being at the forefront of recent EU legislation, Amanda is now qualified as a Domestic Energy Assessor. Having studied at the Building Research Environment (BRE) in Watford with whom she is accredited, Amanda can now undertake Energy Performance Certificates.
